Hydraverse’s Release Candidate version: New feature
G’day Hydra fam,
After BETA 4 ended, the Hydraverse team received a lot of feedback from the community with the desire to reopen the game. We realize that the community’s love is so great and your interest in dragons is as great, so we have decided to release the Hydraverse Release Candidate version on August 4th.
In addition to the features carried over from the first versions, such as offline racing, feeding, hydra park, etc., we decided to refresh the game with a brand new feature.
Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the newest feature of Hydraverse: Real-time racing
Real-time Racing is the latest feature that Hydraverse will launch in the release candidate version, with a change in gameplay to set it apart from Offline Racing. Instead of joining with 5 other players (5 other Dragons), you will only join with 2 other players (a total of three players/race).
You will have to control the dragon manually (like in the training feature) instead of letting the dragon race automatically. You will have to take your time and focus completely on the race in order to win.
The Dragon’s speed will be an advantage, but during the race, your dragon can pick up skills including fireball, shield, and trap.
☄️Fireball: When the opponent is ahead of you, you can use this skill to shoot the enemy, slowing down the enemy’s speed.
🛡️Shield: When using Shield, you will pass through obstacles without being stunned or slowed down. And if you use a shield, you will be resistant to fireballs and traps used by your opponent.
🕸️ Trap: You can use traps to slow the opponent behind you, helping to prevent your opponent from trying to get ahead of you.
🏆How many Cups will you get?
Hydraverse gives you the formula to calculate the number of Cups you will receive as follows:
- Top 1: X + (2–1) = ? Cups
- Top 2: X + (2–2) = ? Cups
- Top 3: X + (2–3) = ? Cups
(X is the number of stars your Dragon owns, for example, 1 star, 2 stars, 3 stars, etc)
For example: If you have a 1-star Dragon, you can get Cups as:
- Top 1: 1 + (2–1) = 2 Cups
- Top 2: 1 + (2–2) = 1 Cups
- Top 3: 1 + (2–3) = 0 Cups
=> If you own a Dragon of 2 stars or more, you will receive Cups whether in the top 1,2, or 3.
The races will be much more intense and exciting with the appearance of the Online Racing feature, Hydraverse also believes that there will be a lot of trainers participating. Get ready for the upcoming RC version. Don’t forget we will be back on August 4th.
